Research and Critical Inquiry Microcourse (RCIM) - CWI Transfer
Boise State University has many transfer students from the College of Western Idaho (CWI). The CWI Library also offers a microcourse with some overlap in content and at the same general skill level as the Albertsons Library Research and Critical Inquiry Microcourse (RCIM). In a joint effort with the College of Western Idaho library, our RCIM team developed a shortened Microcourse in Canvas specifically for those CWI transfer students.
We recognize that as a CWI transfer student you have already learned many of the skills that the full RCIM course covers. This CWI Microcourse reviews some of the most important skills you have already learned and introduces you to some of those not covered in the CWI course. It will help you become familiar with the Boise State University Albertsons Library, our databases, what the library offers, and how we can provide research assistance throughout your career at Boise State.
Accessing and Completing the RCIM
You will access the course through Canvas. It will show up just the same as other courses.

Sections will only open if the previous section is completed and you have received the required points.
These two assignments are exceptions to this:

Go to step 3.2 for instructions on how to get your badge certificate.
