Google Scholar - Setting Your Library Links

  1. Go to Google Scholar at https://scholar.google.com/ .
  2. In the upper left, select the menu option (3 bar icon) and then select "Settings":

     
  3. On the Settings page, select "Library Links" in the left menu:

     
  4. On the next page, type "Boise State University" in the blank search box, select the blue search button and then select the two check boxes below:
    - Boise State University - Find It at Boise State (will allow you to link to the "Find It" information; and
    - Open WorldCat - Library Search (will allow you to link to the library's catalog to find out if the Library owns the book)

     
  5. Select the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

     
  6. Below is an example from the Results page in Google Scholar.  To find out if the full text article is available in a library database, select the "Find It at Boise State" link on the right side. Sometimes the article may also be linked on a website.
    Note:  The "Find It at Boise State" link will not be available for all articles.

     
  7. For books, you can select the arrows icon below the citation to find out if the book is available in the Albertsons Library:

     
  8. To view the citation for the article or book, select the quotations icon at the bottom of the record:
