Compendex, Inspec and GEOBASE are searched jointly on the Engineering Village platform.

In the search results from these article databases, you may see an icon like this:     This indicates the publisher is a member of a publisher and vendor group that cooperates in linking from references to full-text.  IF the Library has access to the journal through the publisher, then you can access the article by clicking on the full-text icon.  If it is not available through the full-text icon, then use the Find It button or the Journal Titles database to find out if it is available in another way.


Although not an "article", dissertations usually contain extensive literature reviews which place the topic of the dissertation into a historical context and/or give the state of current research in the area.  These literature reviews are a rich source of articles and other published materials relating to the dissertation topic and related areas.
