Books for Distance Students

Distance students can receive books by mail! Books from the Albertsons Library collection can be sent to you at home. Use the search box (also known as WorldCat Local) on the library's homepage to find your book. After you click on the book title:

  • Use the "Hold/Request" link for books Albertsons Library owns.

Make sure your account is set up to recognize you as a distance student and provide your home address. See an example on the Video Tutorials page.

Course Reserves

Students: Any readings that were previously part of the library's electronic reserves system should have been moved by your instructor into your online course.

Faculty: Albertsons Library has discontinued our electronic reserves service and moved to a DIY Library Electronic Reserves model where we can help create accessible pdfs with appropriate copyright and citation information for you to put into your online course. Questions about what you can include in your online course? Check out some information on copyright and fair use.
