Using the Online Catalog to Find a Book

This video explains how to search the Library catalog to find books.

For books that Albertsons Library does not own, try requesting them through interlibrary loan. Click the orange "Request item through interlibrary loan" button on the catalog page for the book you want. Make sure you indicate that you are a distance student on the ILL contact information form (see below):

This form includes your contact information so we can send items to you.

Looking for Articles?

This video explains how the peer review process works for journal articles.

Need someplace to start your search for newspapers, magazines, and/or peer-reviewed journal articles? Watch this video on how to find articles in the Academic Search Premier database.

Having trouble getting to the full text of an article? Make sure you know how to use the "Find It" button in our article databases.

If we don't have access to the full text, use interlibrary loan to get articles sent to you electronically.
