Exporting References from Mendeley Into EndNote Online

You can export references from your Mendeley library into an EndNote Online group (which can then be shared with more than 3 other people). Follow the steps below:

1. Highlight/select the references in your Mendeley desktop library and go to File > Export.

Select references and go to the File menu, then Export.

2. There are 3 file options for exporting. Choose the .ris option.

Choose the .ris option to save your exported references.

3. Open your EndNote Online account and go to Collect > Import References. Choose your saved file and select "Refman RIS" as the import filter option. Save to whichever folder you want.

In EndNote Online, go to Collect, then Import References, upload your file, choose "Refman RIS" as the import filter and save to a group.

4. Your newly imported references will not include the pdf files from your Mendeley library, but there should be a Boise State Find It button to get you back to the full text if available.

Look for the Find It button to get full text.
