Introduction to Library Research

Getting Started

This guide is an introduction to library research. In this guide you will find information about the different collections in the library, how to use the library website, how to find different library resources, how to navigate your online environment, and how, and why, to cite your sources. This guide is just meant as an introduction, so please make sure to ask questions. We are happy to help you using any of the ways to contact us in the Get Help Now box in this guide.

Your Library Liaison

Library Liaisons provide specialized support for individual departments and subjects. They can help you with your research and are the people that you should contact with any questions specific to your major or to a particular class. So let's say you are taking a Social Work class, you have a dedicated library liaison who can help you with research for that class. Find a list of library liaisons here and don't hesitate to contact them with any questions.

Librarian Office Hours

Librarians are holding Office Hours from 10 am to 4 pm Monday through Thursday in the Bronco Learning Commons on the first floor of the Albertsons Library. Come see us with any questions you have about library research or just about anything else!
