Select "Browse" > "Company Reports" > ProQuest Annual Reports Collection" for access to thousands of real company reports.
Mergent Intellect
Public and private company and industry information, domestic and international. Search by company name, industry, or create lists of companies within specific geographic areas using NAICS.

Additional Resources for Publicly Traded Companies

Standard and Poor's netAdvantage
Search by company name. Particularly useful for income statements, balance sheets, and ratios.
EDGAR
Search for SEC company filings by name, ticker symbol, or CIK. 10-K filings will have the most substantial information.

EDGAR and International Equivalents

EDGAR Company Filings
All companies, foreign and domestic, that are traded under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission are required to file through EDGAR. Free access to these 20 million+ filings.

Many countries have business registration equivalents to EDGAR filings. Reporting requirements will vary and it can be difficult to locate the correct site. Here are some examples of international business registration websites. Keep in mind that most business reports will be in the national language of the country they report to.

SEDAR (Canada)
The official site for information filed with the Canadian Securities Administrators.
The Central Business Register (Denmark)
The Danish state's master register of information about businesses.
Companies House (UK)
With over 3 million companies registered and over 7 million documents filed each year, covering all of the United Kingdom. Individual countries may also have their own registration systems.
ICRIS (Hong Kong)
The official Chinese government business registration website does not have an English interface, however this Hong Kong based system does.

International Directory of Company Histories
With more than 100 volumes, this set covers the world's largest and most influential companies.
Directory of Obsolete Securities
Contains companies whose identities have been lost due to name changes, mergers, acquisitions, dissolutions, reorganizations, bankruptcies, charter cancellations, or related capital changes.
Moody's (Mergent's) Industrial Manuals
Parent company information back to the 1970's.
