There are many great sites for educational and research videos. TED is a particularly good site: "The TED Talks channel features the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes (or less)."  There are over 900+ videos available for viewing and embedding from the TED website.
