FAQs

How long can I use an eBook?

It varies depending on the eBook supplier. Please see the individual suppliers.  Some eBooks can be downloaded for a defined time, typically 7 days or 14 days.  Some have a 30-minute idle time limit meaning that you will be logged off if there is no activity for 30 minutes. Certain ebooks can only be used online and not downloaded. The browsing time for non-downloadable books is unlimited as long as an idle time is not detected or the book is not closed.

How do I share the link to an eBook?

From the eBook record, click on the "Share" icon and "copy link". The link can be pasted and shared, or emailed from the library catalog.
