What happens after you request a book or item?
After you request a book or item, the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) staff will either pull the item and check it out to you if Albertsons Library owns it or send the request to lending libraries worldwide, which will then be mailed to us at Albertsons Library. We will then check out the book or item to you.
Next, we will mail the book or item to you, which you can expect to take anywhere from a few days to two weeks.
The person who has checked out the book or item is responsible for sending it back to Albertsons Library before the due date.
Instructions and mailing labels will be included in the book.
You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to Albertsons Library.

Why can't you request an eBook from Interlibrary Loan?
Due to licensing and copyright issues, ebooks cannot be borrowed via ILL worldwide. Please check with a Reference Librarian regarding your options.
