About me

I'm a reference and instruction librarian with a specialty in English, Theatre Arts, and Environmental Studies. I also work with the department of Extended Studies to support distance and related coursework.

If you'd like to chat with me, check the box at right. If I'm online, we can chat now! If I'm offline, feel free to leave me a message with your phone or email and I'll get back to you.

My background

I've been working in libraries since 2004, when I began at the University of Arizona Libraries. I've been here at wonderful Albertsons Library in my role as reference and instruction librarian since July of 2007. I have a Master's degree in Information Resources and Library Science from the University of Arizona (2006) and a second Master's in English from the unique Literature & Environment Program at the University of Nevada, Reno (2000).

Before I came to libraries, I worked as an editor for Orion magazine, and later for a few other organizations including the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy. I grew up in New Jersey and earned my Bachelor's degree at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania.
