The ACCRA Cost of Living Index is an approximate, but reliable, measure of the cost of living between different urban areas. In other words, this index presents "the relative price levels for consumer goods and services in participating areas."  The average for all places is 100, and each index is a percentage of the average for all places. (Ex: The same cart of groceries for 2007-08 was 101.3 in Twin Falls and 152.9 in Honolulu, HI.)

  Updated monthly, this abstracting database is powered by the American Economic Association and contains over a million articles, book chapters, dissertations, working papers, and book revierws which deal with economics and related fields.

  This international academic business database offers information about business and economic conditions, company profiles and histories, brand information, rankings, investment reports, securities data from thousands of business periodicals, many full-text.
   
• Business Source Premier, 1965 to present
  References more than 2,300 journals in all disciplines of business including marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance, econometrics and economics.
  
  
• JSTOR, from the early 1800s to within 2-5 years of present
  Provides unique access to fulltext backfiles for core business journals, including economics coverage.
    
  
• PAIS (Public Affairs Information Service), 1972 to present,
  Unique in that it indexes both periodicals and non-periodicals, but neither exhaustively, PAIS covers only topics which are the subject of current debate as to policy and / or theory. International in its coverage it includes much information of use to those in the fields of economics.
