Sixth Edition:

IN-TEXT:

  • Provide at least the author’s last name and the date of publication. If available, provide page number (or specific location if the source is electronic) as well. 

REFERENCES:

  • Alphabetize by first author's last name, or, if no author is listed, by the first element of the citation (generally the title).
  • Remember, always keep careful track of your sources during the research process! Always consult your professor/department/publisher for specific requirements.

ARTICLE from a printed, paper journal:
