  • ProQuest Central
A great general database similar to Academic Search Premier in scope.
  • CQ Researcher

A goldmine of information on issue topics. A great place to find a pro/con statement. Each issue also contains a bibliography of relevant resources.
  • EBSCO TOPICsearch
contains full text for over 105,000 articles from 1,622 diverse sources including international and regional newspapers, periodicals, biographies, public opinion polls, book reviews, pamphlets, and government information
  • Congressional Digest (Journal)

  • Oxford Reference Online
Need brief information on your topic? Try here.
  • Albertsons Library Catalog

The online catalog shows what books are available in Albertsons Library. Books, yes books, still are a tried and true source for speech topic information. Consider searching for book series such as Contemporary Issues, Opposing Viewpoints, etc. Use Quotes
  • Albertsons Library Article Databases
Try selecting a database from the many available to Boise State University students. Use the drop down menu to select databases by subject.
