We have created several subject-specific lists of databases germane to your topic. The following databases cover the spectrum of Bilingual Education research and scholarship: 

  • CSA Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts
    The database covers all aspects of the study of language including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics.

    An interdisciplinary, bilingual (English and Spanish) and comprehensive full text database of newspapers, magazines and journals from ethnic, minority and native presses. This current database begins its coverage in 1990.

    Collection of scholarly journals from Latin America, Portugal and Spain. This multi-disciplinary database offers full text content to many academic areas including business & economics, medical sciences, political science, law, literature and more.
  • HAPI (Hispanic American Periodicals Index) online
    Over 275,000 journal article citations about Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Mexico, Brazil, and Hispanics/Latinos in the United States.
  • MLA International Bibliography  
      
    The MLA International Bibliography is a subject index for books, articles and websites published on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics.

    Comprehensive bibliographic resource covering the Mexican-American, Chicano and the broader Latino experience. Includes the Spanish Speaking Mental Health Database, covering psychological, sociological and educational literature.
  • Dissertation Abstracts - for locating dissertations & theses
    Mostly full text. Locate dissertations and theses from U.S. and international institutions of higher education.
  • Essay and general literature index
    Literature reference database offers access to 65,000+ essays. Coverage spans the humanities and social sciences, with subject coverage ranging from economics, political science, and history to criticism of literary works, art history, drama and film.
  • Ethnographic Video Online
    Ethnographic Video Online - provides the largest, most comprehensive resource for the study of human culture and behavior–-more than 750 hours and 1,000 films at completion.
  • JSTOR - for historical research
    Historical coverage for over 65 Education journals and hundreds more from across the disciplines. All full text.

    Over 160 subjects areas are covered extensively in this product including business and economics, health and medical, news and world affairs, technology, social sciences and more.

    SAGE publishes more than 500 journals in Business, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Science, Technology and Medicine.
